FaceGym Signature Face Oils

In October 2020, FaceGym launched 3 Signature Face Oils with tech-enabled packaging. As well as the oil, the purchase comes with a QR code on the oil box which, when scanned, opens a unique application method. This video is to be followed daily when applying the face oil, taking the viewer through a 4 minute facial workout.

My role in this launch was to art direct and execute the application video, art direct the campaign imagery and create all assets needed across touchpoints: organic social, paid social, website, updated in-studio collateral, in-studio digital screens and various lightboxes.

Application video

This video, though concerned with skincare application, was designed to feel like a workout video. I animated various graphics to accompany the footage in order to achieve this - counting reps, time bars and iconography. I art directed the video, coached the model in how to deliver the script and was responsible for sign off on the edit. Inspiration came from references such as the Nike Run Club and Apple Fitness.

As this video is only available with purchase of an oil, this is a teaser. This teaser sat on the oils PDP pages and organic and paid social channels.

Campaign

Campaign imagery was created to satisfy the key points of messaging: tech-enabled packaging, the 3 different formulations, and their perfect pairing with face tools such as gua sha stones and derma rollers.
